My Friend Devon

My friend Devon went to the Rainbow Bridge today. He was very sick. It is very sad because he was only 11 months old but Devon just wasn't healthy from the time he was a little puppy.

He was kind of a goofy guy....not sure what kind of dog he was. Maybe a golden mix or a shepherd mix or who knows. I just know we are all going to miss him alot.

Too Hot for Rotts

This weather is just too much. We have a mister in the backyard but still....it is way too hot for us Rotties.

I got a new ball tho so it wasn't all that bad of a weekend. The kids next door are not basketball stars and they keep pitching their ball over the fence. I catch it, deflate it and throw it all over the yard.

OK, enough about me. Paw'd Squad adopted out SIX dogs this past week. Digsby, Stanley, Iris, Mark, Galvin and LaLa all found homes.

What a great weekend

WOW! Was this a beautiful weekend? Nice and sunny. Perfect day to go to Dog Beach. Of course I didn't get to go. NOOOOOOOO. Mom had to do housechecks. But on the bright side, one of our Sheepdog mixes did get adopted so MORE ROOM IN THE YARD FOR ME. Maybe next weekend I'll get to go to Dog Beach.

Allow Me To Introduce Myself

My name is Bernie. I am a 6 year old handicapped Rottie that lives with The Paw'd Squad Animal Rescue. I only have 3 legs and the one back leg that I have doesn't have a hip socket so, if I'm not in my cart, I just sorta scoot along

My job in The Squad is to teach the puppies in foster care how to respect older dogs and I am quite good at it. We have three little monsters...I mean puppies...now who bow down to me as I pass them in the hallway and shower me with kisses when I'm lounging on my special bed. Yes, that's how I like it!

I've been in the Squad all my life and love it!

I'll be posting here quite often and let you know what new doggies are in the Squad, who needs a home QUICK and oh.....just all sorts of things. Keep checking back. I love to talk!
